One hour educational seminars about mental health. Lunch is provided. Effective January 2008, the fee to attend is $5.00 for members and $10.00 for non members. Memberships are available. See schedule for 2008. This is a United Way of Wayne County funded program.
Workshops for Wayne County Teachers that teach strategies to better manage their classrooms and keep the learning process the main focus. This is a United Way of Wayne County funded program.
A newsletter presented to new mothers through volunteers in the hospital. These newsletter address mental and physical milestones for the first year of the child's life. Volunteer opportunites availible by calling 734-3530.
Programs
Mental Health Association in Wayne County
Wish list are received from Wayne County care facilities for residents and/or patients that have no family and friends. Volunteers shop, wrap and deliver gifts to the facilities. Monetary donations are accepted throughout the year to purchase these gifts.
